CHANGEMAKER 03 ALMANAR AL BASTAKI

Almanar Al Bastaki was a visual art student in College of Art and Creative Enterprises at Zayed University. She engaged in INNOCO in 2018 Reunion to learn and exchange her experience with Nepali youth. She also worked with KULNA community garden project at ZU as a research assistant and assisted in teaching, building food forest, community outreach, youth recruitment, and social media planning from 2017-2020. She was able to co-design various activities and campaigns to raise awareness of sustainability through nature-based engagement in the garden. Her commitment and leadership inspired so many students and wider community members to envision the future KULNA impact for the UAE and the planet.
