A studio for turning new capability into ordinary acts of connection — one conversation, one neighbor, one story at a time.
Knowledge that once took a lifetime to reach now arrives in an afternoon. Tools that belonged to institutions now sit in our hands. A person in one country can learn alongside someone on the other side of the world, before lunch.
And yet the question of our time isn’t what we’re now capable of. It’s what we’ll do with it.
This is the moment IN was built for. Not to admire the capacity, but to practice with it — to turn enhanced capability into ordinary, daily acts of connection. A conversation started. A neighbor noticed. A story told so someone else can see further.
Everyone who comes through IN walks their own path, at their own depth. Not ranks. Not requirements. Just how far you feel called to walk.
It starts with one free workshop. After that, four paths open — and each one leads back to the same place: a story, offered to the rest of us.
You’ve taken a workshop. Now you try it in the world: you initiate ME=WE conversations with family, friends, and neighbors, and return to Open Studio to practice alongside others. Slowly it stops being an exercise and starts being how you live. And when you’re ready, you write your story and pass it on.
An apprentice path, open on request. You start by identifying your own interest and purpose, then shadow real IN activities — supporting design, tech, storytelling, or facilitation, close to a mentor. You contribute to the growing body of stories, and you leave with genuine experience, a certificate, and a reference letter for whatever comes next.
The one certified program at IN. Through the Pathfinder series you learn the workshop from the inside, practice with us, and keep returning to Open Studio as your own practice deepens. You earn the ME=WE Facilitator certificate, then hold the space yourself — facilitating workshops in your own context, and sometimes creating new ones.
This one begins with a conversation: an application, an interview, an agreement. From there you’re part of the studio itself — developing workshops, co-facilitating, collaborating across the network, and hosting IN’s work in your own community, language, and culture. Independent, not a branch. Still in Open Studio with the rest of us.
Whatever path you’re on, Open Studio is where everyone returns — to reflect, practice, and consult one another. It’s the one room all four paths share.
Whatever you try, wherever it happens, it comes back as a story — and those stories are how the rest of us learn what’s possible. That’s the co-creating part. It isn’t organized from the center. It self-organizes, one contribution at a time.
